Public Education Presentations

Children as young as 3 or 4 years old are able to make life-saving calls for help in the event of an emergency. Accordingly, the Office of Unified Communications (OUC) regularly participates in events geared toward youths to provide them with tips on calling for public safety services. The OUC even provides literature and activity books to prepare children if they have to make emergency calls.

In addition to our participation in youth events, we offer presentations throughout the community for groups of all ages. Specifically, we are available for nursery schools, day care centers, schools (pre-k to 12th grade), community groups, and senior citizens’ groups. If you would like the OUC to provide a public education presentation for your organization, please call (202) 730-0503.
